The Sterling Inn, South Sterling PA - the location of our getaway weekend, January 23-25, 2004.

Friday night we arrived for dinner. The Tedfords and Rosenthals took one car, and stopped in Bethlehem for lunch and shopping. We met Carl, Doris, KT and Ed at the inn. After a great dinner we sat around the fireplace and were serenaded by a lone troubador. Unfortunately, Jay didn't take out his camera until Saturday, so you'll have to take my word for it - the lone guitarist was pretty good, for a country inn in the middle of the winter!

By the way, the temperature for the whole weekend wasn't above 20 degrees (and that doesn't include the wind chill!!). Doris and Jay spent the weekend in the inn, while the rest of the gang indulged (?) in outdoor activities, including snowshoeing (Carl) and cross country skiing (Betsy, Max, Pat, KT, Paul and Ed).
